JH/Co. was started on tour with the band X from Los Angeles. "We were on tour in the Pacific Northwest and I needed a new belt. I went shopping one afternoon and found a belt I really liked. The only problem was the fact that it was $120 and I was unwilling to pay that much money for a belt. I decided to make my own. I googled leather stores and found Oregon Leather Company. I drove there in the tour van and got a few leather strap, a 1/4" punch, two o-rings, a leather X stamp, a mallet, some Chicago Screws, and some other various things I thought I would need. I went back to the hotel and made my first belt. I also made 13 leather X key chains. Since then, I've made some wallets, a whole bunch of belts, a few sunglass cases, leather straps for a collaboration apron with a company called Salt Creek, the leather straps for a modern day chair, a bunch of mouse pads, Mexican Blanket holders for your motorcycle, but the main thing I make is The Russell Key Clip, which I've made in various shapes and sizes over the past few years. If you want something custom made, send me a message and I'll see if I can accommodate you. Thanks for checking things out".
Sincerely,
Joel Hendricks

We all know leather to be a beautiful, natural material that has a variety of uses. Whether it’s your leather boots, leather watch strap, leather bag, or your leather Russell Key Clip by JH/Co. it’s clear that leather—and especially raw leather—ages in a particular way. For those who don’t own something made with raw leather, they might be wondering: What’s the big deal? The big deal can be summarized in one word: Patina. This patina created over time on both the leather and brass snap hook defines where you've been, and how you've traveled through your life as oils from your skin and other elements of the environment absorbs into the materials. In order to actually get a nice patina on your item, you have to do one simple thing—use it.

This product comes with two extra Chicago Screws and a canvas bag.
